Lost Art Project: Venus and Adonis
I haven’t had a chance to work on anything I actually enjoy lately, but here’s a project I did for my art history class.
I had to create artwork with influences by Diego Velazquez.
I used to write a story called Omnifarious. I had the story from 2008-2011 and then I slowly discontinued it. I never had a real reason. My best friend reminded me of it when she visited me in Atlanta a few weeks ago. I forgot how much I enjoyed creating the story. I might pick it up again.
This character— whose name used to be Euphoria (after the flower), but that is subject to change— is the main character’s mother. I had trouble liking the main plot more than I enjoyed creating the back story for Euphoria and her husband. :’D
My best friend made me a new mix CD with this song and I listened to it on repeat until the drawing was done. <3
